Success Stories

Success story 1
  • May/7/2021- Felicitation by our Dean. Dr.E.Theranirajan for removal of brain tumour, which was not possible for surgery, by using Stereotactic Radio Surgery by our department by team of professors comprising DR.Vijayasree, Dr.Giridharan, Dr.Antoinette Mary Nithiya and Dr.Jeeva. It was a highly advanced technique and cost around INR. 5,00,000 if treated outside. Patient presented with complaints of hard of hearing and discharged safely after radiotherapy by SRS

Success story 2
  • Novel procedures such as Stereotactic Radio Surgery for brain tumors and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy for other sites were employed, which is exceptional as the above mentioned high-end treatment techniques would cost in lakhs if treated outside, more being treated under Chief Minister Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme (CMCHIS) for the benefit of poor patients.
Success story 3
  • In 2025, we have successfully treated a pediatric patient with total body irradiation (TBI) as a conditioning regimen for stem cell transplantation—the first such case at our institute—delivered free of cost despite its complexity and high expense, culminating in an excellent clinical outcome, felicitated by our Dean Dr.E.Theranirajan, under the guidance of team of professors comprising Dr.Vijayasree, Dr.Giridharan, Dr.Antoinette Mary Nithiya and Dr.Jeeva.
